How to use the POI-Warner Speed Camera Updater

If updated to version 2006 Plus, the iGO My way navigation software also manages road safety cameras. Camera information is provided by the POI-Warner company with the following coverage:

Austria, Belgium, Switzerland, Czech Republic (not complete), Germany, Denmark (only mobile cameras), Spain, Finland, France, Greek (only fixed traffic redlight speedcams), Ireland, Italy, Luxemburg, Netherlands, Norway, Poland, Portugal (only fixed cameras), Sweden, Slovenia, Great Britain

To install camera information:

1. Log in to http://my.i-go.com  with your e-mail address and password provided during registration.
2. Click ‘Downloads’ on the left.
3. Download the POI_Warner_Updater.zip archive to your computer.
4. Unzip the file, run poiwarnerupdater.msi and follow the installation instructions.
5. Connect your PDA/PNA device to the computer or insert your iGO My way memory card in the card reader. Please remember to disable write protection on your SD memory card.
6. Launch POI-Warner Speed Camera Updater.
7. Select your language, then read and accept the License Agreement.
8. The program automatically locates the navigation system.

The updater offers the following options:

1) Manage fixed cameras

1. Install – free
2. Update – subscription required
3. Delete – delete the database uploaded earlier

2) Manage mobile (moving, temporary) cameras

1. Install – subscription required
2. Update – subscription required
3. Delete – delete the database uploaded earlier
   

3) Subscribe to a service on our partner’s website at www.speedcamupdate.com.
